Duck Brand has awarded more than half a million dollars in scholarships to students who show enough creativity and brilliance in making their prom costumes. Duck Brand also uses this medium to highlight that their duct tapes come in diverse colours and not just in gray. The Duck Brand is also using the scholarship to help promote creativity in the Nation and also bring up the underdogs and lead them into prominence in their workspace.

It is much easier to create tuxes with duct tape because tuxes use less duct tape than dresses, due to the surface area, dresses take much more time to create than tuxes. Most dresses use dozens of tape to create, especially when there are more than one colour added.
