The Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund is a need-based scholarship program created to fund students seeking to further their education. This scholarship opportunity is available for students who are able to do academic work at the college or university level, candidates who are enrolled in a trade or technical program are also eligible.

This award aims to close the void created as a result of many social vices engrossing the united states. Beneficiaries of this scholarship have fought for civil rights, against McCarthyism, and for peace in Vietnam. The program now fights against sexism, racism, homophobia, and racism, and other intimidating factors diminishing society.

Eligibility Criteria

•Aspirants who want to be chosen for this scholarship opportunity must actively participate in the fight for civil rights, justice, and other factors the Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund stands for.
•Candidates who are pursuing permanent jobs in the states have higher chances of being chosen.
•The scholarship also considers the financial status and academic potentials of candidates.
•Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for the Davis-Putter Scholarship fund.
•Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited school and must be obtaining college credit for the period covered by their grant.
•Candidates must be living in the United States and planning to enroll in a United States institution, however, United States citizenship is not compulsory.

How To Apply

Applications must be completed by April 1. The application will include a short personal statement, transcripts, letters of support from two people, and a passport photograph suitable for reproduction.

Candidates will receive a maximum amount of $10,000 per year.
